The Greater Blackstone Valley Dems is a coalition of Democrats from 14 towns in the vicinity of the Blackstone Valley. We are officially recognized by the Democratic State Committee as a grass roots coalition, and we have formed a state PAC for the purpose of influencing local elections.
The founding members all met during the 2010 election cycle while working on Richard Neal’s successful campaign for the House of Representatives in Massachusetts’ Second Congressional District. After the election, we decided that we wanted to stay together and continue our work, so that we would be better prepared to face the challenges in the 2012 election cycle.
If you are a member of the Democratic Party and live in the area, please consider joining our network – we’re a vibrant group, ready to take on the work needed to turn our valley blue.
